The VAS-V PinLock 120 insert works with all "X" style Arai helmets. This includes Quantum-X, Signet-X, Regent-X, Corsair-X, Contour-X and Defiant-X.

This clear fog-free insert comes included with all compatible helmets listed above, with the exception of the Regent-X. 

Because it's made of a softer plastic than the hard, anti-shatter exterior face shield, the pinlock insert is prone to scratching and hazing.

We know we're not supposed to stow our gloves or other items inside our helmet while off the bike, but most of us do it anyway.

Even with meticulous care, it's possible for the soft plastic of the Pinlock insert to deform over time. And because of the complexity of the shape of Arai X series shields, which requires the silicone gasket to trace a meandering line around two vents, it's not uncommon to go through a few different pinlock inserts over the life of a helmet.
